SRINAGAR : The centuries-old Mughal-era mosque at Shadimarg in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district is all set to undergo restoration work, with the government sanctioning more than 22 lakh rupees for its renovation. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Officias said that the government has cleared funds, and the renovation process will begin in the coming days.

The locals have been consistently demanding preservation of the heritage monument.

The mosque, believed to be over 400 years old, dates back to the Mughal period and is considered one of the oldest surviving architectural structures in the region.
