The Melville Millionaires made it two wins in a row Friday night, edging the Bunge Division-leading Weyburn Red Wings 2–1 in overtime on the road.

Captain Boston Harkness played the hero, scoring the game-winner 3:27 into overtime—just minutes after he had left the penalty box, where Lucas Schmid had tied the game for Weyburn on a late power play with 1:59 remaining in regulation.

Earlier in the third, Rylan Oatman broke a scoreless deadlock with his fifth of the season.

Fuzz Aafedt stood tall between the pipes for Melville, stopping 32 of 33 shots to earn his second straight win. At the other end, Preston Patenaude made 16 saves on 18 shots in the overtime loss.

The teams will face off again Saturday night in Melville at 7:00 p.m. at the CN Community Centre.
