AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Amarillo police and the Randall County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a reported assault in Randall County involving West Plains students after videos of the incident circulated online.

In a statement, Amarillo police said dispatch received hundreds of calls and the department was tagged in dozens of social media posts about the incident.

Randall County Sheriff’s Office reported that incident occurred on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Both agencies have taken reports, and the case is under investigation.
