AUGUSTA -- The top seeded Cony Rams beat the No. 4 seed Messalonskee Eagles by a score of 59-0 on Friday night.
In the second quarter up 21, Cony's Anderson Noyes took the inside hand-off for a big gain before being brought down by Parker Doucette.
A few plays later it was Noyes again, this time taking the shotgun snap and waltzing in to the end zone, making it 28-0 Rams.
Eagles with the ball, Tatum Doucette dropped back and found Peyton Henning who made a great catch while keeping his feet inbounds, however the Rams defense would be too much all night.
The Cony Rams ran away with the game, and moved step closer to gold ball dreams.
They host Fryeburg Academy next Friday night for the B North title.
