Manchester United icons Roy Keane and Paul Scholes have clashed over whether Sir Alex Ferguson's now-legendary 'It's Tottenham' team talk was actually needed.
With the two Premier League heavyweights set to meet on Saturday afternoon, supporters will likely recall Ferguson's famous speech from the same fixture back in 2001. Both Keane and Scholes featured in that memorable encounter where the Red Devils trailed 3-0 at the break to Spurs in a stunning twist.

United stormed back after the break to win 5-3, proving the brief yet powerful pep talk had the desired effect. Yet Scholes believed it wasn't right for the legendary boss to undermine their opposition in that manner.
