SRINAGAR : The District Police Ganderbal destroyed a large quantity of seized contraband and psychotropic substances worth several lakhs during a mass disposal drive conducted under the supervision of the District Level Drug Disposal Committee. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Acting under the directions of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal, the committee disposed of the narcotics through the incineration method at Kashmir Health Care System, IGC Lassipora, following due permission from the competent court.

According to officials, the destroyed substances had been seized in connection with 23 NDPS cases registered in the district. The process was carried out under the supervision of senior district officers and in the presence of a magistrate.
