In a recent article about the building project proposed by Seneca Valley School District (“Seneca fact sheet details renovation proposal,” Oct. 14, Page 1), the school board referred to the new performing arts center cost as “only” amounting to 18% of the $165 million total.

I found it interesting they referred to nearly $30 million as if it is an insignificant amount.

I think most taxpayers would not refer to that sum in such a way.
