The Lethbridge Hurricanes ended a four-game homestand on the right side of an 8-7 score against the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday night at VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
“That team can score like crazy,” said Matt Anholt, Canes head coach.
“They’re an extremely skilled group. We’re fortunate, obviously, to score more than them tonight because that’s a dangerous team over there.”
Luke Cozens led the way for the Canes with a seven-point game (two goals, five assists).
“What he got tonight is just an epitome of how his season’s went,” said Anholt.
“Everything he got, he deserved. His line was outstanding; they checked for chances all night long and then they created in the moments when they had it with time and space off the rush.”
The game was important
