The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas marked the start of construction this week on a new 84,700 square-foot warehouse and distribution facility.
The new facility at the cooperative's Little Rock campus will serve as a regional distribution center for AECI Utility Solutions, the utility sales and services division under Arkansas Electric Cooperative, Inc.
AECI also sells infrastructure material and equipment to five states and provides safety equipment testing, construction and right-of-way services across the United States.
"The new AECI Utility Solutions warehouse on our Little Rock campus will enable the organization to expand and increase the efficiency of delivery products to utilities in Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi and Oklahoma," Vernon Hasten, president/CEO of Arka
