The Labour Party government has extended its £650 million Electric Car Grant to include NEW models. Labour Party ministers have confirmed that another vehicle is now eligible for the Electric Car Grant, allowing drivers to save £3,750 off the price of a new EV.
Keir Mather, Aviation, Maritime and Decarbonisation Minister, praised the addition to the scheme, saying it was helping put £3,750 back in people's pockets. The Labour MP for Selby continued, saying: "Our Electric Car Grant now offers drivers more choice and bigger savings."
