All the changes Labour Party Chancellor Rachel Reeves could make to income tax in the Autumn Budget have been revealed. There are five ways Ms Reeves could go about shaking up income tax as the Labour Party Autumn Budget is delivered on November 26.

Ms Reeves has said she has to “deal with the world as I find it, not the world as I might wish it to be”. And Ms Reeves has spoken of the government’s desire to get those with the “broadest shoulders” to pay more.

"We all need to do our bit,” Ms Reeves said - suggesting everybody could be in the firing line. And Ms Reeves said she would not duck the difficult choices ahead, even if they broke her pledge not to put up income tax, VAT or national insurance.
