The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a gradual fall in minimum temperatures across Odisha over the next few days, with the state capital Bhubaneswar expected to record lows of around 17°C and Cuttack likely to touch 16°C by mid-next week.

The weather department has attributed the temperature decline to clear skies and prevailing dry north-easterly winds, signalling the seasonal transition toward winter conditions.

Temperatures To Fall Across State

According to the Regional Meteorological Centre of the IMD in Bhubaneswar, the minimum (night) temperature is very likely to fall by 2°C to 3°C during the next 2 to 3 days, with no major changes expected thereafter.
