The video was recorded by the train's second loco pilot.

In Jammu and Kashmir, a hawk collided with the windshield of a moving train, shattering it on Saturday morning in Anantnag. The broken glass caused the hawk to fall into the locomotive pilot's cabin.

The incident occurred on the Baramulla-Banihal Express, between Bijbehara and Anantnag railway stations. The windshield breakage caused minor injuries to the pilot’s face. However, after the collision, the bird ended up inside the pilot’s cabin.

The train was stopped at Anantnag station, and the hawk was removed. The injured pilot was then treated. Despite the incident, train operations were not halted. After inspection, the train resumed its journey.
