Arkansas losing streak hits 12
After losing 27-25 in the first set of Friday's match against Mississippi State, the University of Arkansas (5-19, 1-12 SEC) won the second set 25-21. The Bulldogs took the third and fourth sets to win the match 3-1 (27-25, 21-25, 25-16, 25-18) at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville, marking the Razorbacks' 12th consecutive loss.
Mississippi State (17-7, 7-7) was led by Lindsey Mangelson, who had 21 kills, 10 digs and a .429 hitting percentage. Bernardita Aguilar chipped in with 14 kills and eight digs.
Jada Lawson led the Razorbacks with 16 kills and added 12 digs. Romani Thurman had 14 kills and Sydney Maue added 10. Avery Calame had a team-high 18 digs.
