EL CENTRO — The El Centro City Council voted on several measures during a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

The city unanimously approved an ordinance to ban electric bicycles (E-bikes) in all city-owned parks, with a vote of 5-0. The decision follows reports of damage to the park property and safety concerns, particularly at Bucklin and Vista Parks. The ordinance was brought forth to protect people and preserve park grounds. Clear signage will be posted in the parks.
