The transfer of one of the only three teachers from the Thapidayal high school in Ghilatoli area under Teliamura subdivision has triggered grave resentment and protest among students and guardians . Shortly after coming to know of the transfer this morning the students and guardians took t the streets and launched a blockade programme to have the transfer order cancelled immediately. Soon after the information about the blockade of Teliamura Khowai road reached subdivisional headquarter in Teliamura , senior officials of the inspectorate of education department reached the spot and pacified the students and guardians and finally at the intervention of police the students and guardians withdrew the blockade on the assurance that the transfer would not be given effect to.
