Ahmedabad: The nip in the air grew stronger across Gujarat on Friday as both day and night temperatures remained below normal at several places, indicating a rapid onset of winter. According to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) report issued at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, dry weather prevailed across the state, with no rainfall recorded anywhere in the past 24 hours.

The city experienced a noticeable dip in night-time temperatures last night, with the minimum settling at 14.7°C — about 3.4°C below normal, marking a significant drop from the previous night.
