A jury has acquitted a man accused of firing gunshots from a moving vehicle, injuring one man, close to where children were playing football at Jervey Gnatt Park in Ocala on Oct. 5, 2024.

But that acquittal does not mean the defendant isn't being punished for what happened on that night.
