Abhishek Sharma Fastest to 1,000 T20I Runs in the World: Creates History

India’s “Abhishek Sharma” created history with his landmark record as becoming the “fastest batter in the world to reach 1,000 T20 International runs” in terms of balls faced at the Gabba.

The 24-year-old left-hander reached this milestone during the “5th T20I against Australia”, achieving the feat in just “528 deliveries”. He surpassed the previous record held by “Australia’s Tim David”, who took 569 balls to reach the mark. Opening the innings for India, Abhishek reached 11 runs off 7 balls to cross the 1,000-run landmark, doing this in his “29th match and 28th innings” since his debut in July 2024.
