Bhubaneswar: Even as night temperature has gradually been falling across Odisha, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said that the mercury is likely to drop further in next couple of days.

State capital Bhubaneswar is likely to witness gradual dip in temperature which may drop to around 17°C in a few days, while temperature in Cuttack city is expected to touch 16°C by mid-next week. ADVERTISEMENT

The weather agency has attributed the fall in temperature to clear skies and prevailing dry north-easterly winds, signalling the seasonal transition toward winter conditions.
