Gujarat govt announces ₹10,000 crore relief package for farmers hit by unseasonal rains November 07, 2025
Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today announced a Rs. 10,000 crore relief package for farmers affected by the unseasonal rains that lashed the state in the last week of October.
The unseasonal rainfall this year damaged crops on approximately 4.2 million hectares of farmland, prompting the government to announce the largest-ever relief package.
