HUNTINGTON — Despite the sunshine and above-freezing temperatures, snow was falling at Heritage Farm Museum and Village on Thursday as crews completed a vital step toward opening a new year-round snow park.

Projected to open in the spring of 2026, Heritage Farm Executive Director Audy Perry said the new attraction will bring 31,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor winter adventures to be enjoyed 365 days a year, including skiing, ice cave exploring, ice skating and snow tubing.

Perry said Heritage Farm will soon guide visitors to a barn-like structure with a quilt pattern snowflake atop, welcoming adventurers to a climate-controlled indoor space filled wall-to-wall with trees, murals, snow-covered hills, ski lifts and slides.
