India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav took another dig at the Asia Cup trophy row after defeating Australia in the five-match series. India won the series 2–1 after the fifth and final game was washed out in Brisbane on Saturday, 8 November.

With the victory, India maintained their 13-year unbeaten streak in T20I series in Australia . When Suryakumar was asked how it felt to finally have his hands on the trophy, the skipper quipped that it felt great to actually hold the silverware — a playful dig at the Asia Cup final controversy, where India were not handed the trophy despite winning the continental tournament.
