Another group of hotel workers have walked off the job in Philadelphia.

Hotel room attendants, cooks, bartenders and other hospitality workers at the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District hotel, affiliated with UNITE HERE Local 274, have gone on strike.

The strike began on the morning of Saturday, November 8, with workers demanding family-sustaining wages, humane staffing levels and improvements to healthcare and pensions.

They want to see these improvements ahead of next year as Philadelphia is set to host a slew of high-profile events.
