FAIRFAX, S.C. (WJBF) — The Town of Fairfax to take a public stand against gun violence.
A Stop Gun Violence rally is set for Saturday, November 8, at the Fairfax Gazebo on Sumter Avenue. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon, and organizers are encouraging everyone to wear orange — the national color for gun violence awareness.
Town leaders say the goal is to bring the community together to honor lives lost and to promote peace, unity, and safety in Fairfax and beyond.
The event will include speakers, community organizations, and moments of reflection, all focused on ending the cycle of violence.
