Serious injuries have been reported in a multi-car crash in Somers on Friday night, police said.

Connecticut State Police said they responded to Main Street (Route 190) in the area of Sunset Drive for an accident involving three vehicles.

One person was critically injured and was flown by LifeStar to a regional trauma center, according to Somers fire officials.

Two other people sustained minor injuries.

Route 190 was closed for several hours.

State police are conducting an investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
