All incoming and outbound flights from Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport have been halted after the runway lights encountered a technical glitch, airport officials said.
Officials further said that technical teams had been deployed to identify and resolve the problem, assuring that normal operations would be restored at the earliest.
The incident comes a day after flight operations in Nepal’s neighbouring country, India, were disrupted due to a massive technical glitch at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on Friday, affecting air traffic across the country.
