In a first-of-its-kind gathering, physicians from Quebec’s four main medical federations are staging a major rally Sunday at the Bell Centre in protest against Bill 2.

Specialists, family doctors, residents and medical students are being called upon to meet there at 2 p.m. to express their dissatisfaction with new health legislation that enforces pay and working conditions on physicians, and imposes severe fines for doctors or associations that engage in certain forms of pressure tactics.
