One woman and two animals were found dead in a structure fire overnight out of Centerville.
According to Centerville Volunteer Fire Department (CVFD), crews were dispatched Nov. 7 at approximately 7:47 p.m. to respond to a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a single-story residential home fully on fire.
"Tragically, one adult female and two family pets were found deceased at the scene," a spokesperson for CVFD said. "Our hearts are with the family, friends, and community affected by this loss."
As of Saturday morning, crews are still on scene working to extinguish parts of the building still on fire. The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire, CVFD said. No further details were released.
