DICKINSON — Dickinson Public Schools finalized and approved its budget for the 2025-26 school year.

For the 2025-26 school year the district is projecting they will bring in about $70.48 million in general fund revenues.

Of the money received, $41.3 million is coming through state aid payments, $20.3 million is coming from local funding sources including property tax levies, $6 million is coming from the federal government and $2.75 million via oil and gas tax distributions.

On the expenditure side, the school district approved a final budget of $70.477 million. Of the money, approximately $57 million—80.9% of budgeted funds—will go toward staff and the remaining $13.4 million—19.1% of budgeted funds—will go toward district operational expenses.
