Mangaluru, Nov 8 : As rainfall has subsided along the coastal belt over the past couple of days, the Dakshina Kannada district is now experiencing foggy and chilly weather. After months of cloudy skies during the monsoon, dense fog has returned to envelop the region, creating a misty atmosphere across several parts of the district.
Weather experts predict that such foggy conditions may continue for about a month, particularly in the greener regions of Bantwal and Puttur. In hilly and elevated areas such as Mudipu and Sajipa, the fog has completely blanketed the surroundings, reducing visibility to the extent that even roads are barely visible.
