GLENDALE, Ariz. — A person riding a bicycle has died after being hit by a car in Glendale, according to authorities.

The Glendale Police Department said the incident happened Saturday morning near 59th and Glendale avenues.

When officers got to the scene, the bicyclist had already died, police said. The person's name has not been released.

The driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene, according to police.
