The DB Marg police have arrested a 65-year-old man wanted in a case of theft that took place 30 years ago.
The police claim they had visited his native place in Uttar Pradesh a number of times, but he always got prior information and escaped before the police reached his village.
This time, accused Dwijendra Dubey once again got prior information about Mumbai Police’s arrival at his native place to nab him. He managed to flee and came to Mumbai on October 30. However, his luck did not favour him again, and the police got his son’s mobile number and contacted many people whom the accused’s son had spoken to last week. The location and information of both were obtained, and it was established that the accused reached Mumbai and was staying at his relative’s place in Ghatkopar area, said
