AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Valley Public Service Authority issued a boil water advisory Saturday for parts of Aiken County due to unforeseen system repairs.

The following areas are affected: Old Cherokee Drive, Parker Drive, Oakdale Drive, Chinaberry Drive, Windsor Drive, Fairview Road, Pineview Drive, Millrose Circle, Purpleheart Tree Lane and Avalon Lane.

Once water service is restored, those customers who experienced an interruption in their water service, or low water pressure are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute before drinking or cooking, until further notice.
