WHEELING, W.Va. — Two West Virginia residents are dead after a crash on I-70 just across the Pennsylvania border.

Pennsylvania State Police say the two were killed when one driver lost control headed eastbound on the interstate Friday evening. The vehicle crossed the median and struck a west bound vehicle head on. A third car was also collected in the crash.

The Washington County, Pennsylvania Coroner’s Office identified the two deceased victims as William Magers, 69, of Glen Dale and Donna Havens, 59, of Wheeling. Both were drivers and both were dead at the scene. A third victim who was a passenger in Magers’ vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injured.
