Linebacker Whit Weeks was ruled out of Saturday’s game in Tuscaloosa, according to Friday’s availability report released by the SEC. Weeks has been dealing with a foot injury that also kept him out of LSU’s loss to Texas A&M before it had a bye ahead of the Alabama game.

Interim head coach Frank Wilson sounded negative earlier this week in regards to Weeks’ chances of playing against the Crimson Tide.

“I think he’s probably more doubtful at this time, considering today,” Wilson said Wednesday on the SEC’s weekly coaches media teleconference. “We’ll see in today’s practice how he looks, so we’re hopeful but I’m n
