Salon and cosmetics retailer Ulta Beauty recently opened a new Ankeny store.

The store opened Oct. 31 at 2010 SE Delaware Ave., according to Uta Beauty spokesperson Makayla Williams. The is Ulta Beauty's fourth metro store.

The company also has metro locations at 6305 Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines, 4100 University Ave. in West Des Moines, and at Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines.

Ulta Beauty has about 1,450 locations across the U.S., including a store in Ames. Like the other metro stores, the Ankeny store includes a hair salon.

Hours of the Ankeny location are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. USA TODAY Shopping: Shop sales in tech, home, fashion, beauty & more curated by our editors.
