Pittsburgh Chef Frank Vitale and his wife are giving thanks to the community, helping to prepare 500 Thanksgiving meals to give to those in need this holiday season.
Last year, Vitale moved his popular South Side restaurant to Foster Plaza, taking over Scoglio's old location. With this bigger space, he says, this means that he will be able to make a bigger impact on the Pittsburgh community. Advertisement
He and his staff at Cucina Vitale Restaurant will prepare 500 Thanksgiving dinners, delivering meals along with a powerful message to people who are struggling.
"They're loved, you know, and then they pay it forward, you know, there's somebody that cares," Frank said.
