FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — SNAP benefits will continue to be temporarily blocked for the month of November.
U.S. Supreme Court judge Ketanji Brown Jackson ruled in favor of the Trump administration's appeal of a federal court order to fully pay out benefits by Friday.
Jackson's order presses pause on some of the payments until U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit can make a ruling on the administration's motion to block the order, pending its appeal. It is important to note that this is not a ruling on the legality of the case.
The ruling comes just hours after the U.S.D.A said it would make a full payment after a federal judge ordered the agency to make them a week ago.
