Hyderabad : Tragedy struck near Medchal when a 19-year-old B.Pharm student lost his life after his two-wheeler collided with a dump truck at the Medchal toll plaza late on Thursday night. The victim, who was a first-year student at the Government Pharmacy College, Medchal, was riding home when the accident took place. His friend riding pillion sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to police, the dump truck was stationary at the toll-plaza when Ashwin Kumar's bike collided from behind. The impact was so severe that Ashwin was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
