Hyderabad, Nov 8: CPI State Secretary and MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao said artists must create art forms that raise awareness on public issues and reflect the party’s century-long history.

Sambasiva Rao was speaking at the inauguration of a two-day state-level poets and artists workshop held on Saturday at Makhdoom Bhavan, Hyderabad , under the joint aegis of Arasam and the Telangana Prajanatya Mandali.
Sambasiva Rao stated that the CPI’s 100-year history includes many challenges and achievements that should be portrayed through plays and songs.
