Few prep running backs in the country possess the overall talents of McKeesport star Kemon Spell.

Spell, a 2027 five-star recruit who recently decommitted from Penn State , was unstoppable in McKeesport’s 28-3 victory over Thomas Jefferson in a WPIAL Class 4A semifinal at Chartiers Valley High School on Friday night.

In an amazing display, Spell ran for 331 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 carries, one of the scores a 97-yard run in the second quarter.

Spell, bothered by an ankle injury earlier in the season, had 232 yards in the first half.

McKeesport advanced to the WPIAL Class 4A final for the third consecutive season.

Spell decommitted from the PSU program in October.
