RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. —

The Omaha Police Department has confirmed that Ricardo Kirk is dead after an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound during a standoff with police in Mississippi.

OPD said they had been searching for Kirk for a felony assault case and were notified of the standoff on Friday.
