As Oregon gears up for a massive game on the road against Iowa, it will be without its leading receiver.
Reports surfaced earlier on Saturday that true freshman standout Dakorien Moore suffered an unknown injury in practice this week that left his status for the game against the Hawkeyes in doubt. Now, he's set to miss the game per On3.
It's a huge loss for Oregon. A five-star signee this past offseason, Moore was the No. 1 receiver and No. 4 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class. With expected top receiver Evan Stewart suffering an offseason injury that cost him his season, Moore has emerged as the favorite target of quarterback Dante Moore, pacing the team with 51 catches for 433 yards this year.
He has also scored four touchdowns.
With Moore unavailable, Oregon will rely on fellow receivers Gary Bryant Jr., Malik Benson and Jeremiah McClellan. It could also result in more targets for tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who currently ranks second on the team in receiving yards.
