DeWitt, N.Y. — Fayetteville-Manlius girls volleyball enters this year’s state tournament one year older and one year wiser.

The Hornets went deeper into the state playoffs than they ever have last season, playing in their first-ever state final four and coming just one point away from taking the Class AA state championship.
