BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- As the holiday season begins, Military Families Ministry USA, Inc. is putting on its 15th annual 'Stockings for the Troops' program, where stockings filled with donated items are sent to deployed service members.
Distribution bins have been placed throughout Altoona, Bellwood, and Tyrone, and items will be collected throughout the month of November.
People can fill stockings with these items, or they can donate items like: • Individually wrapped Twizzlers • Hard candy • Chapstick • Toothbrush and small toothpaste • Hot chocolate and oatmeal packets • All flavors of Ramen Noodles • Snack and food bars like granola, protein, cereal, and nuts • Peanut butter and cheese crackers • Individually wrapped cookies • Slim Jims and beef jerky • Indi
