LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A firefighter suffered minor injuries while putting out a restaurant fire early Saturday morning.
Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS said crews were called to the scene of the blaze in the 3000 block of Springhurst Commons Drive around 4:15 a.m. on Nov. 8. There, they found a one-story commercial building, Tacos D Amor, with flames showing through the roof.
Officials said it took 25 firefighters 45 minutes to control the fire. No one was in the building when the fire occurred, but the building sustained extensive fire and smoke damage.
A firefighter’s hand was minorly burned during the incident, according to the department. He was treated and released at the scene.
Louisville Metro arson is investigating the cause of the fire.
