TEXARKANA, Ark. – In celebration of the 250th birthday of the Army, Navy and Marines and 50 years since the Vietnam War ended, an extravaganza and Tracey Lawrence Concert is being held outside Crossties on Saturday following the Veterans Day Parade.

Organizer and Ben’s Heart Ministry Founder, Suzy Kroll, said in years past, the Veterans organized the parade, but she felt like more could be done.

“And that we felt like that our community would serve our veterans better if we got the word out,” said Kroll. “So we got the word out and we decided that we are not just going to do a parade, we are going to do an extravaganza, we are going to do a concert, we are going to do all the things.”
