Gastonia caregivers arrested in autistic woman's death

Two women were arrested and accused of beating and tasing an autistic woman in their care, and that woman was later found dead.

Marlo Morris Wallace, 58, who lived at a home in the 1800 block Greenbrook Trail in Gastonia, was charged with concealment of death, assault on a handicapped person, and patient abuse and neglect in the death of 23-year-old Aaliyah Michelle Fortner. Her bond was set at $1.5 million.
