Iowa State football tight end Gabe Burkle was forced to exit during the second quarter of the TCU game with an apparent right leg injury.

Following a play deep in Iowa State territory, Burkle went down by the ISU sideline, was attended to by trainers and left the game.

After catching a pass for 8 yards from quarterback Rocco Becht, TCU defenders converged on Burkle and tackled him. The tight end rolled over and did not immediately try to get back up.

Following medical attention from athletic trainers, Burkle went straight to the locker room.
